Playmates Veritech Fighter, custom Space Robot Airplane Cobrastickers, red metallic paint, panel lining marker

Continuing with my GI Joe/Transformers crossover theme, I found a reasonably priced Playmates Veritech fighter locally and decided I would convert it into a G1 Jetfire homage.

I started by panel lining the Veritech fighter, and purchased a set of the Jetfire conversion stickers for the Skystriker from Cobrastickers and modified them extensively to fit.

I then painted the nose and booster pack with red metallic paint - masking was a little bit difficult in places, but overall it was relatively tidy.

The finished product is an extremely striking combination of white, black and red.
