Cobra: Repair B.A.T. Well the Techno Viper was used and I thought a lot about who I wanted to use as the mechanic. Then I figured why not a robot to fix robots, I had some spare bats so I painted him construction orange to set him apart from other bats. He has all the standard hands that come with the bat but I added a scanner and tools. All the hands have these crazy small magnets in them as well as on his body so he can just reach down and pop one off and another on for quick and easy access. I put the battle damaged head on to show that he works on the Zoids in the heat of battle and used the "dirty" looking body to show he works on them.

Well I was away for awhile on a mission and in my down time I would watch old cartoons to pass the time. After some thought I remembered a toy line I had and watched a few of the episodes...Zoids.

Then I got to thinking it would be a cool cross over since we live in the age of UAV's. I've been around UAV's and they are really cool, the joes had PAC Rats, Cobra had the Claw and Snake armor. Even now figures come with UAV's so I thought why not make the Zoids into a version of UV's.

This has been a lengthy and expensive project. A good 7 months in the making and don't even ask what I got invested in this. A good part of the time was just getting the model kits shipped in from over sea's. I used MTF figures since I wanted these guys to have a uniform look to special team, and the colors I wanted to kinda match the Zoid they control via their helmets. The helmet has a neural link with the wearer's head and accepts voice commands.

I picked the soldiers based on their file cards or people with robotics back grounds. Every team needs a leader so I added them as well along with transport/maintenance vehicle with driver and mechanic. Unmanned Attack Vehicle. For the Joes I have the R.A.D. Force, Robotic Attack Division. For Cobra I have the R.A.T. Patrol, Remotely Activated Troopers.

I also went with the stolen technologies concept. The Joes developed Zoids and Cobra stole the plans and made their own versions of them. Each side has a comparable Zoid.

I hope you all like my take on this different version of a cross over, not everything has to be Transformers. lol

Zoids are unmodified so I can display them on their own if I want, so they will not be featured here but they are added so you can see how they pair together.
