Data: As technology advances the battle between G.I. Joe and Cobra becomes more heated. When Cobra brought the first of their vehicles designed to have traits similar to animals to the battlefield, the Pulverizer, G.I. Joe quickly responded by requesting that McCullen DeCobray's ranks of M.A.R.S. rush the creation of their own prototype robotic battle suit, the Defense Mech. With the Defense Mech on the field keeping the Pulverizer at bay, work continues on the original design, called an Exoskeleton Battleframe or Exo-Frame for short, but commonly just an E-Frame. The major differences between the Defense Mech and the E-Frame prototype, codename: "Resolute", are a "Cyberjack" interface allowing the pilot to link directly into the E-Frame's systems and control it as if it were his own body, and a prototype Fusion Pack, a micro-scale, less-than-critical-mass nuclear power system. While the designs are dissimilar, the Resolute is now going onto battlefield testing piloted by the Joe Team's Experimental Weapons Specialist Black-Out and, if successful, the technology in use on the Resolute will be added to the currently active and any future Defense Mechs.
