At the 2015 Con in Indiana I was fortunate enough to get a Metalhead without 2 left biceps. Apparently it was a pretty common issue, so much so that they ran out of replacements. But I still wasn't satisfied. Sure the PoC Duke launchers are probably the best option with current tooling, but Metalhead *is* his accessories. His character is built around his gear, and I needed a Metalhead that could be a bad ass as his single spotlight comic issue and as goofy as his DIC appearances. So, I adapted bits of the vintage figure to some Neo-Viper thighs (which fit the Jungle Viper lower legs perfectly) which nova then cast. Adapting the vintage backpack was just a matter of trimming down the peg. The end result is a Metalhead that feels like Metalhead to me.
