Dr. Frankenstein comes from a long lineage of scientists and geneticists. A long line of doctors shunned by the legitimate medical community for their unethical experimentation, especially that focusing on reanimation of the dead. It's said that all have been successful before being terminated at the hands of angry citizenry.

This modern Doctor has gone further then his predecessors by utilizing the undead already walking the planet and combining it with various tech allowing him to control the formerly uncontrollable creature.
