Head and body: Bossfight with sculpted details and a repaint

I was never happy with my Phantom custom as he never really looked like the cartoon version from Defenders of the Earth. I decided to make some changes to fix him. I started with a darker purple repaint then sculpted a new belt and boots and a skull ring.

The Phantom is the legendary protector of Africa and better known as the Ghost Who Walks. He aids in the battle against evil with his enhanced strength of the Ten Tigers. He was one of the first "super heroes" in the comic strips.

The Defenders of the Earth are formed after Ming the Merciless kills Flash Gordon's wife. Flash is then joined by The Phantom, Mandrake and Lothar to battle Ming and do as their namesake says and defend the Earth.

The Defenders of the Earth was another team that I always wanted to crossover with GI Joe and easily could have. As a kid in my massive universe I created in my mind the Defenders helped Joe with Cobra and the Joes helped battle Ming's forces and save the Earth on numerous occasions.
