I started collecting G.I.Joe again during the Spytroops era. I remember being impressed with the design of the C.L.A.W.S., but being confused as to how they fit into the combat structure. Sure, they are the Combat Light Armored Weapons Specialists...but aren't regular Cobra troops also "lightly armored?"? And aren't they and the numerous Viper divisions "weapons specialists"?
Either way, I liked how they looked and liked the desert C.L.A.W.S. even more so.
