I absolutely love this version of Destro. He is my favorite figure from the New Sculpt Era. I have no idea what made Hasbro go in this direction. I mean, a casual, medallion-ed, turtle-necked, New-York-in-the-70s-Shaft-vibe figure is so totally unexpected. I know that this version is almost universally derided, but I really dig this jive turkey.
Of course, the only painting I had to do was the purple pants. The oversized medallion was just something found at the craft store. Obviously the scale is way off, but that's half the fun
