Mattel released a line of action figures in the 1960s based on the space craze at the time. Major Matt Mason Mattel's Man in Space. Matt Mason was the main astronaut, but the line had several other characters in the line that just had different colored suits really. I obviously was way too young to have had any of these figures growing up, but was intrigued by them as I came across them online.

I also included a picture with some other popular space guys that I think Matt would have been perfect working with.
