Full disclosure...I think the '93 Leatherneck is a bat [LASER BLAST] crazy, absolutely bonkers figure and I love it. The '93 Leatherneck is such a fever dream of a figure that you just can't help but like him. The colors are atrocious. Yellow, brown and blue? The giraffe camouflage is bold and, frankly, a very poor choice. The figure is so bad it's endearing. I had a lot of fun making my custom. The biggest fail with my custom is the hat. On the original figure, the hat is a Boonie hat with the brim tied up on both sides. I tried and tried to pin up the sides of the Boonie I used, but I just couldn't get it to stick. I used glue and heat and even superglue, but the brim just wouldn't stay up (there will be a Marauders Boonie with a tied brim coming next year).
