Steve Austin was a military pilot that was injured during a training mission. On the brink of death, he is saved by becoming the first bionic man at a cost of 6 million dollars. He then works for OSI on secret missions helping to keep the world safe.


One of my favorite 70s shows that I watched in re-runs as it was off the air barely before I was born was the Six Million Dollar Man. I always wanted a toy of Steve Austin, but by the 80s the figure was long out of production and eBay wasn't a thing yet so finding older toys wasn't an easy task. I never had the 70s figure, but I finally have him in modern 4 inch scale (which is the best scale anyway...right). I also have him pictured with the cartoon the show inspired Bionic Six.
