According to his filecard, T'Gin-Zu is Storm Shadow's greatest student. He has been studying with the Arashikage Clan for 20 years and knows many mystical and esoteric martial arts techniques. T'Gin-Zu's real identity is Joe Rainone from New York. When I think of that, I can't help but see a tubby, track-suited, five-o-clock-shadowed schlub with a busted nose and a cauliflower ear.
As hyper-powered as T'Gin-Zu was, I'm surprised they felt the need to create Kamakura or Dawn Moreno at all. T'Gin-Zu could easily step up to be the messianic, all powerful Snake Eyes II.
The figure itself is kinda silly and derivative, of course, being a repaint of Storm Shadow, but I tend to gravitate towards the lower tier Joes.
