The Earthrise Cliffjumper mold has seen a lot of use already, being retooled and recoloured into a number of different characters. Since the Throttlebots were essentially a continuation of Autobot minicars, and since Goldbug (one of the remolds of Cliffjumper) is himself a Throttlebot, it stands to reason to make use of this mold to make some more Throttlebots. This involved replacing the head with something resembling the original characters', painting the legs, waist and hands red, and the front of the feet black. In robot form the tail end is positioned to create a "hood" behind the head to better resemble the original Throttlebots figures.
