Design:

This custom is a combination of the 2011 flight suit Cobra Commander for the build and the unreleased 1997 Cobra Commander for most of the colors.

In 2011 Cobra Commander was released as in a flight suit as a convention exclusive, packaged with a Starscream-painted Sky Striker as well as a Megatron pistol. Here I've used 25A and NS parts to put CC in a similar outfit.
Unlike the convention figure, this Cobra Commander has no helmet over the faceplate, as the Renegades design looks better without one.

Colors & Paint:

Based on the unreleased 1997 figure, which featured a reddish copper faceplate. Plus a few pops of lighter blue closer to the convention figure.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The neck is sculpted, as the Ace body had a very short neck that didn't work with head. The thigh screw insets are epoxied smooth.
