Head - Salvo v1

Chest - Lifeline

Left Arm - Quick Kick?

Right Arm - Tomax or Xamot (either Ronny or Donny, I can't tell them apart anymore...)

Waist and Legs - Crimson Range Viper (they probably have a name)

Backpack and weapon: Alpine's backpack and pickax
(in this pic, he uncovers ruins in the mountains and finds a blood trail and a still-warm machine gun)

After many years of endless killing, Snake Eyes left the service and retreated to the mountains to mourn the loss of Scarlett and distance himself from the activities of his four sons and many students. Soaked in the blood of his rivals and missions, he donned red and became a hermit and occasional mountain rescuer. Faced with the gruesome memories of the many lives he took, he felt the ugliness of his scars best reflected his essence to everyone else and permanently removed his mask. After eight long years at high altitude, he's rescued many lives near the brink and yet very few of the rescued could stand looking him in the face, even when thanking him. It was best that way, he felt. His voice box has long since been fixed by laparoscopic nanotech implant, but to this day he has still never uttered a single word.

An entire squad of LBC unmasked Snake Eyes figures resulted from my coming across a random eBay listing of a JoeCon Snake Eyes figure unmasked with his scarred head shown. I don't know if that figure used the Salvo head sculpt but that's what it looked like to me. Paint work on face only. As for the chest, I never liked the Lifeline figure. What a stupid smirk, I thought. Then I made a bunch of evil Lifeline clone assassins and the smirk took on a new meaning (that's for another post). While I found Lifeline's red medic outfit an idiotic choice in a battle scenario, Lifeline's red chest piece with straps were perfect for a mountaineer rescue type, someone who might want colors that attracted attention or at least didn't mind being seen. You see how I - without paint skills or confidence - needed to find ways to make the existing factory colors work in my joeverse. As a kid, my first instinct when bashing kits was asymmetrical figures with different arms etc because kit-bashing was a practical affair back then and I never really kicked the habit. So it's endemic in my figures that many appear wearing a vest (different colored arms from chest) or asymmetrical arm styles.

This is one of my most favored Snake Eyes LBC's. I posted a couple bonus pics of a few other Snake Eyes LBCs if you're curious; from left to right - Red&White Mountain Snake Eyes, Adjusted V3 Snake Eyes, Python Patrol Cobra Mortal (watch out for those ankle blades!) and adjusted V2 Snake Eyes who looks a lot like Black Panther, and in second pic, Green Asp a cobra jungle assassin, Blind Master Skill Snake Eyes, Arctic Mission Snake Eyes and Captain Carnage (son of Sgt. Slaughter). Expected most folks here wouldn't need or want black major pieces, but I use them a lot especially for beloved rare casts like the Snake Eyes v2 head. Hope you like! Thanks for checking it out.
