Nunchuk is a spot of sanity in an insane Ninja world. When Hasbro decided to chase trends and turn G.I.Joe into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, neon colors and action features went into overdrive. Pink ninjas, orange Mohawks, decreased articulation became the order of the day. Nunchuk, while still a victim of an action feature (the ol' Samurai Smash), was spared the worst of the humiliation by having a green camouflage uniform with black accents and oddly (for Hasbro of the '90s) appropriate weapons.
