Robo-J.O.E. was a scientific engineer working on robotic battle armor for the Joes when he was raided by Destro and Cobra. Robo-J.O.E. was fatally wounded. Joe scientists put him back together (they have the technology). He was accepted into Star Brigade and now he battles Cobra in his new bio-mechanical life-support system...er...Battle Armor.

Okay, so...I hate the Armor Tech guys. I think they are asinine. They are these huge, Starrior-type figures with decreased articulation an insane proportions. Hasbro should have just split off the Star Brigade and Lunartixx Empire ideas off into their own toy line. Instead they once again capitalized on the popularity of G.I.Joe by incorporating this absolute flotsam into the Joe mythos. I don't hate Star Brigade per se. I just hate that it was shoehorned into G.I.Joe. But the Armor Tech guys get none of my respect. That's one reason why I made my custom the way I did. I want Robo-J.O.E. to have normal proportions and armor. Now he looks a bit less abysmal.
