Character:

Introduced in the A-Team film as a romantic interest to Face and the obligatory good guy pursuing unfairly accused fugitives, Lt. Sosa ultimately ends up helping the team. She also gets the funniest deadpan line of the entire film: "No, they're trying to fly the tank."

This is the first film-only character I've done, but photographing Sosa with Decker and Crane seemed to make sense.

Design:

Jessica Biel wore several costumes in the film, this custom is roughly based on her introduction in Iraq where she confronts Face. The Wonder Girl body provides a lean athletic frame, offset by the clunky Beachhead boots. In the movie the boots were sleeker, but I wanted something bulky to reflect her badassery. I also left off the sunglasses worn in the film to show the eyes.

The ponytail, vest, and sleeve edges are sculpted. The pockets are made from push molds.
