Action Force

Character:

Barracuda was the frogman of Action Force's SAS unit.

Design:

Palitoy had one frogman-style body that it used for several different characters. Here I'm mixing some NS and 25A wetsuit/bodysuit pieces to create the look of a frogman. Most of the parts are slender/short, although the chest is rather wide.

The head allow for Barracuda's hair and face to be seen, the biggest change from the original Palitoy design.

Colors & Paint:

Black, like the Palitoy figure, plus a few color pops of yellow.

The SAS logo is placed on the lower left leg. There's a wide open spot on the sternum, but it's too centered and would have looked like a superhero logo.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The hair wave and pulled-down hood are sculpted. The shoulder/elbow/knee pins and thigh screw insets are epoxied smooth. The Slice belt was glued to the waist to improve the proportions.
