The idea for this custom came about after I thought about the winter biome. It's basically a wasteland but freezing cold, you're at the far reaches of civilization with no help. After rereading Frostbites file card, I figured he'd be the best fit for this custom. The scenario I put him in is similar to John Carpenter's the Thing mixed with wasteland exploration. His look is based on Kurt Russel's character from The Thing Movie, I had a friend help me mold the "chest rig" on the torso. The story I came up with was that there was a Cobra Submarine that got stuck in the North Pole and he ended up getting stuck in the ice and then eventually washing ashore to where it was grounded. GI Joe satellite picked it up and Hawk dispatched Frostbite to investigate it. What Frostbite finds in the washed-up submarine is beyond a nightmare, some sort of experiment had happened aboard the vessel and left no survivors, only the dead crew reanimated as weird coral based "zombies".
