Head: Star Wars Force Link Jake Skywalker
Left Arm: Star Wars Build-A-Droid
"NAVY" Waterslide: Bad Mother Tattoos
The Rest: Marauders Task Force Parts
I recently went to my nearest liquidation/close-out store to see if I could find anything I could use to customize. I found Teet-Sucking Jake Skywalker. I got him for his removable hood (for my in-production V1 Zartan), but I was also intrigued by the Mark Hamill head. Right away I thought it looked like Admiral Ledger from the Sunbow cartoon. For those of you who might not know, Admiral Ledger was the commander of the U.S.S. Flagg in the G.I.Joe Sunbow cartoon. He, for unknown reasons, replaced Admiral Keel-Haul (the figure who came with the Hasbro U.S.S. Flagg toy and the actual commander of the aircraft carrier).
Now, because this particular Jake Skywalker has shoulder length hair, I did not want to make my Admiral Ledger look exactly like he does in the cartoon. I thought and thought and I went through my parts bin and scraped together something that I thought might be kinda fun.
Star Brigade Admiral Ledger.
I put him in Star Brigade for two reasons.
1). I happened to have those parts handy
2). I wanted Admiral Keel Haul to command the Flagg while still having Ledger be in-universe. To that end, I imagine that Ledger was put in command of the Star Brigade space battleship. (Joe-mato?).
Kidding aside, I gave Ledger a Star Wars droid arm to pay homage to Luke Skywalker having had a hand replaced and also to show that Ledger still puts himself in harms way to help the Joes. The NAVY waterslide is an extra Topside waterslide I had laying around.
