This was created for Assembly Required 2023 custom contest, which had a theme centered around the Dreadnoks. The 2004 GI Joe Collectors' Club Convention theme in Orlando, FL also centered around the Dreadnoks. The Dreadnoks all had camo pants with a corresponding shirt/vest combination. That pattern was mimicked here, but also more closely matches the blonde hair and blue vest as depicted on the original Thunder Machine box art. A custom Sales poster was also created for the contest and these would typically be displayed to show off the exclusives on the sales floor.
