Design:

I did it. I finally broke down and decided to make a suit figure using one of the fantastic Marauder figures. Today I am a man. Not as manly as James Bond, but feeling pretty good anyway, because this Marauder suit figure is fantastic.

The drawback is that it doesn't really leave much creative work for me to do, other than pick a decent head and get to painting! The next time I work with one I'll mix in some other parts just to be different.

This custom is based on Roger Moore's Bond, as seen in The Spy Who Loved Me. Since I made a Jaws custom, I pretty much had to make a Roger Moore Bond, even if he's my least-favorite Bond (not a slam, just not my cup of tea).

The head is a cast of Renegades Duke, which is the best overall shape/feel for Roger Moore I could find, but without using an actual Roger Moore head (which I'm sure someone has perfected).

Colors & Paint:

As with my Jaws custom, this takes the suit colors and slides them onto a more contemporary suit.

Sculpting & Painting:

Epoxy fills on the knee pins. Once I had the figure complete I realized I should have filled the unnecessary back pack hole. Oh, well...
