Head: Custom Cast Part
Torso/Coat/Holster/Sword & Sheath: Dime Novel Legends Lieutenant JG Cavalry Officer
Gloves: G.I.Joe Walmart Retro Collection Cobra Officer
Waist/Legs: Marauders Task Force WWII Blue German Officer

I had made a previous version of Hooded Cobra Commander, but I was never satisfied with the outcome. He was made with many disparate parts with many different proportions. He looked really skinny and his legs looked knock-kneed. I was always on the lookout for any parts that would help him look better.

Well, I found some. Chicken Fried Toys "Dime Novel Legends" action figures are top-notch Cowboy themed figures. They recently released some Fort Laramie type Cavalry figures. One of those figures was a Cavalry Lieutenant who wears a blue short-coat that incorporates a ceremonial cutlass or rapier with a sheath and a pistol holster. As soon as I saw that figure, I knew I wanted to use it for my Hooded Cobra Commander (Grow a pair, Hasbro!) I coupled the Lieutenant torso with some WWII German waist/legs and he looked pretty good if a little monochromatic. To alleviate that, I painted some gold accents on his coat, cuffs, boot-tops and along his trousers. I also gave CC some gold epaulettes and slapped a small Cobra sticker on his chest.
All in all, a solid kitbash.
