Bio: During one of the periods that Zartan disappeared in the eighties, he appearantly spent the time in Chicago. It was at this time that he fathered a daughter before returning to his life with Cobra and the Dreadnoks, never even knowing she was alive. Zanya and Zartan first met some time around the turn of the century when the now-teenage girl killed her mother and her mother's husband by burning down the house they lived in and setting off to find her father. Not fully believing her story, Zartan had her tested during a false Dreadnok mission, a test she passed. Sometime in 2002, Zanya encountered and began manipulating Daniel Maxwell, "Sabre" of G.I. Joe: Frontline, leading to the events of his defection to the Dreadnoks. Zanya is now well on the path to inheriting the Dreadnoks, but unlike many would suspect, she's also fully loyal to her father.
