Through a pit fight he was introduced to Big Boa who immediately took Snake under his wing and trained him to be the best of the best. After a mere 2 years in the ranks of Cobra Snake had worked himself into the ranks of the Alley Vipers, a new team of elite soilders refined for urban warfare. During their training and conception, Big Boa brought Snake to Cobra Commander's attention and after Cobra Commander saw the young man preform he new he had found a commander for his Alley Vipers. Over the years and numerous battles, Snake has become one of the greatest tacticians that Cobra has ever seen, and Alley Vipers have come and gone, Destro came up with more protective gear, and they evolved. Snake was never pleased with his armor for it lacked the mobility he needed during hand to hand combat so he and Desrto put their heads together and came up with a revolutionary armory system. Now Snake leads his Alley Vipers into battle seemingly being unstopable.
