Bio: Destro died in 1995 from a hereditary debilitating disease. Along with several members of the G.I. Joe team and agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a clone of Destro was discovered in a joint Cobra/Hydra lab. After his return, James aided his son McCullan DeCobray in wrestling control of the whole of M.A.R.S. and the Iron Grenadiers from his half-brother Alexander McCullan. Leaving McCullan as his surrogate in the field, James returned to leading M.A.R.S. himself.
