VAMP v1 gun

This was a custom I did around 1998. I had a huge display depicting the Joes and Cobra battling it out in the Arctic North at a research base. I have always been a big fan of the cold weather Joes and Cobras. These were some of my favorite figures and vehicles and a large part of my collection is dedicated to this theme.
At the time, all I had was the Snowcat and decided to cannibalize a jeep into the cold weather ranks. The jeep was made of an ugly green plastic that really didn't fit in anywhere and it had a cheap-looking missile launcher that had that stupid spring-firing cannon on top.
Once I painted it white, the launcher had to go. I had an extra VAMP cannon and decided to paint it black and stick it on. Everything came out looking good.
