About 5 years ago, I started to make a set of customs of the original team. I made versions of Clutch, Steeler, Short-Fuze, Grunt, Zap, Rock'n'Roll, Breaker, Grand-Slam, and Flash. Unfortunately, these were some of my first customs, and I had yet to learn that enamel paint and clear-coat were incompatible. Most of the figures came out looking terrible, and I've been debating whether or not to post them alongside their new counterparts (they're pretty embarassing, but also pretty funny). Out of those figures, Steeler was the only one who came out looking decent, so I left him together. I'm still not 100% satisfied with him, so I might make some changes. This particular figure is based on how Steeler was shown in the first few G.I. Joe comics.
