Motivation: I wanted to have a Commander from the end of the series that wasn't on steroids, like the ones Hasbro produced.

Upper Legs: Range Viper
Lower Legs: Cobra Commander Version V
Accessories: Chuckles 9mm Pistol, Gnawgahyde Knife, Chuckles Holster and Belt
Notes: Removed holster from Chuckles belt, and the lloped latch end and attached them to the Viper Middle Piece for the Pistol and Knife to go into. I also used a sticker from the Cobra Rattler 4WD (a.k.a.) the Stinger 4WD for the chest emblem.

Cobra Commander is qualified with all of Cobra Commands small arms produced by M.A.R.S. like the MRA-762, MRA-556, the MSMG 9mm and the M12 Shotgun. Cobra Commander is also a qualified operator of the H.I.S.S. Tank, the Stinger, the A.S.P., the Water Moccasin, and the Wolf.

Cobra Commanders drive for world domination began when weekly meetings of Cobra, then an underground organization, began to produce revenue through "Pyramid Schemes". As Cobra grew, so did Cobra Commander's corruption and dream of world domination. Cobra Commander has watched Cobra grow to the point of becoming an independent nation, only to be wiped out. He believes he knows where he went wrong the first time, and that he must first destroy the G.I. Joe Team. His plan for doing this involves inciting conflict in the Middle East and other trouble spots, to lure the G.I. Joe Team out of the United States and into combat. Cobra Commander will use any government, or terrorists group to realize his fanatical dream.
