My first "Lazy Bastard Custom" became Pops. I liked the Shang Tsung head and felt it would work good as an older Dreadnok. Someone commented that it looked too Asian and they couldn't imagine an Asian Dreadnok, which inspired me to make Shanghai. You can see this early verion of Pops at the bottom left.

I kinda liked the idea of this character and he became the first figure I've ever "updated" during my customizing career. Now, it sure ain't a masterpiece or anything. I kept the same lower half with no changes. Basically, it's nother simple escapist custom to give me a little break from life right now. Don't really feel like having to work on a custom, just want to do one.

I think the character is more defined now with this incarnation. I believe Hooper-X brought up the fact that Pops should've been at Altamont as one of the Hell's Angels "security force", which is an excellent suggestion. He certainly does look like the sort of guy who would've been there back in '69. The figure just has a nice old biker look to him now that he never had before.
