Pistol: Yard sale find

Sometimes if I want to learn how to do something new with a figure & am afraid of learning the skill on a custom already in progress, I dig through my parts bin until I find a figure I don't have any plans for & start experimenting.

With this particular figure, I wanted to see if I could learn the shadow & highlight effects used by the A+ customizing artists. Most specifically, I wanted to paint like TeknoKyo. I am still working on it..

Like with any skill, with quality practice comes quality results, regardless of our initial aptitude.
