Head and legs: Quick Kick
Torso: Bazooka
Arms: Gung-Ho V1 (removed the wrist watch on the left arm)
Clothes: Cotton fabric for the "Dogi" and Nylon for the "Hakama"
Well people, I made this custom so that he can put into a decorative waterfall at the Aikido academy where my stepson practices.
This is my first custom figure where I used fabrics. The fabrics are attached into the parts of the figure with hot melt glue (using a hot melt glue gun/pistol). Some joints had been damaged and lost their mobility. This is the case for the shoulders, elbows and basin. The waist, knees and neck have their articulated joints intact.
The idea here was to make the custom as realistic as possible. I studied the Dogi and Hakama construction before making the figure and used several pictures from the Internet as reference.
Vargas Sensei is the major leader of Aikido in our state and was inspired by "The Sensei" Grand Master Morihei Ueshiba to devote his life to teaching and spreading the knowledge of Aikido as well as that of the japanese culture, philosophy and oriental lifestyle.
