His friends in Brazil call him just Tone. He enlisted in army as an 18 y.o. They gave him the chance to go to the jungle instruction in the rainforest after a proving himself on duty. The CIGS is where the US Army, Britsh Army and others send their best soldiers to learn about Jungle Warfare.

After a long training he was recruited for the 1st Special Forces Unit. There he worked as a commando. G.I. Joe heard about him and recruited him to work close with Recondo in the deepest jungle.

I based this character on me, but just the name and codename. I always wanted to be a soldier but on the enlistment I was not necessary. The number of soldiers were too much at that moment. So I was sent home.
