I wanted to give my Crimson Guard commanders a more dress-military look since adopting the new-sculpt DTC Crimson Guard as my standard version of that troop.

As it happens, the reds on the various figures I picked for parts matched up perfectly, so the only painting required was some silver and gold detailing on the buttons, the piping and the molded-on sidearms.

I decided to drop the whole "mirror image" motif and just make the facial scar the one distinguishing feature between the characters.

The removable C.L.A.W.S. helmets from SpyTroops Grunt seemed like a nice touch to give the twins a more battle-ready look.
