The 2nd Cobra division "Cobra Island" is one of the thirty-eight divisions fielded by Cobra after Cobra Commander returned from his exile in 2002. The division started life in the early days of the Cobra organisation, forming a personal guard for the Commander, but was reformed into a full-sized division after the creation of the Crimson Guard. Being too precious to waste, this commando unit is only sent into battle when the further existence of the Cobra organisation itself and its Commander is at stake. Its ultimate task is defending Cobra Island until the last man stands.
