Head: Viper V1 Cast
Everything Else: Rock Viper 2000
With SAW vipers running around firing automatic machine guns with one hand holding a belt of ammo in the other, most people get the impression that machine guns are a one man show - nothing could be further from the truth. Machine guns use stabilization tripods, replacement barrels, servicing tools, and piles and piles of ammunition that add up to more weight than even Big Boa can carry by himself on a good day.
The CLAW Viper carries the ammunition and services the weapons, acting as a spotter to feed information and targets to the weapon operator. They provide covering fire for the gunner's position, and help the gunner hat up and book out when the position is compromised. CLAW Vipers are a rare element within Cobra - the consummate team player.

I hated the marked and messed up heads on the 2000 Rock Viper, and decided to use a cast Viper head I had around to replace it. The white of the head cast matched pretty closely to the arms, so I figured that it would blend the figure together. I used an ink rub to simulate the paint wipes that were used on that figure.
