The Cobra Sentries are not only the frontline soldiers but mercenaries hired by Cobra Commander to protect the Cobra Fortress and inform the Cobra Officers if the Joe team is attacking.

Needless to say, some of the Sentries know how to conceal themselves so as to not be seen by the enemy.

Some rumors have it that Zartan and Dr. Mindbender did some experiments with the Sentries and injected them with a serum that makes them blend into their surroundings as a chameleon.

Regardless, they are Cobra Commander's most feared troopers that have been added to his army.

Along with the Cobra Officers and the Cobra Snipers, Cobra Commander is in good hands.
