All: VvV Zartan

This simple custom came from the fact that for some reason, Hasbro decided to trade in the bandana: Zartan's new design was shown wearing a silly watch cap. Either that or the artist thought just like I did that the watch cap was silly and decided to make it a bandanna for the art instead.

Another thing that bugs me is that for some strange reason, all recent Zartan figures have had their pupils painted on, which really takes away from Zartan's mysterious character.

The first thing I did was repaint the eyes, which was incredibly difficult due to the small size of the head sculpt. I had to go over the eyelids with black because I kept leaking my green paint onto the face...

Next came converting the watch cap into a bandanna. To do that, I began by cutting off the little tip of the hat. Then I layered Epoxy putty until it flowed with the original cap, effectively removing the "knitted" look. The last part was adding the knot in the back, which turned out better than I expected.

The rest of the figure was left unchanged, I liked it as is.
