Baron Ironblood found this giant hulk of a man performing in a small, three-ring circus in Germany, or rather, lamenting of his plight in a German pub afterwards. He was relatively uneducated, lured from his home village by the circus as a child, and grew up essentially an indentured servant. The Baron offered him a different kind of servitude, one where his strength and skills would be put to affect world change instead of being put on display night after night.

To all accounts, it was a terrorist attack that destroyed the tent and midway, leaving some 30 dead (including the circus' ringmaster and business manager) and 200 wounded. The Turk relishes his new role as the Baron's bodyguard, and has imparted what knowledge he has gleaned from his circus experience to aid the Baron in their indoctrination techniques for new Red Shadows.
