Dan Dare was the mainstay of the British Eagle comic back in the 1950's and 1960's. He was the Chief Pilot of The Interplanetary Space Fleet. I wanted to do a set from these comics for some time, but couldn't find a figure that was suitable.

I was waiting for the Star Wars Episode IV Rebel Guard to come out, but got tired of waiting. My father suggested that I look through my box of spare figures to see what I could find. I decided to give the Depth Charge figure a try. I am more than happy with the results.
