Despite how the Dreadnoks were portrayed in the cartoon I always liked to think of them as more threatening. They are like the Black Ops of Cobra. When it is a really dirty and messy job, Cobra sends them in to take care of it. They take care of "business" when it is something Cobra doesn't want to admit to having their fingers in. If they are captured or get killed it is part of the territory. What attracts people to the Dreadnok cause is the fact that they basically operate outside the law and get paid a tremendous amount of money

Buzzer, was a Dreadnok that was on the rumored list that we were going to get in 2006 or 2007. Unfortunately the line was placed on hiatus, cancelled whatever it's being called. I was going to hold off on making him but once that happened I really want to finish the original Dreadnok crew.

I wasn't sure how I was going to make him. I really liked how he looked in the Sigma Six cartoon and I though that was a nice modern look, but at the same time I really liked Devil's Due take on him in the Battle Files. I was able to get a hold of the comic pack Hasbro released and decided I would base my version off of the Devil's Due look. This is the first time I've used RAH parts in any modern custom that I've done. I had considered sculpting the torso and the waist piece but when I saw how good the originals were I decided to go with the those pieces and just modify them a bit. I cut the shirt so it was more jagged at the arms (actually just followed the molded detail that was there). Also sculpted up his collar so that it was sticking up slightly.

The headsculpt for Buzzer is so dead on too, that I didn't want to use another head for this custom. I had a few ideas in mind but when I got this I just felt it was perfect so I dropped the idea of giving him a Mohawk and getting rid of his ponytail.

Buzzer's filecard mentions that he was "a far-left wing sociology don" I could see Buzzer being one of those professors who are preaching down with America and getting paid for it. He's one of those guys who has book smarts but that is where his intelligence ends.
