Hawkeye is a member of the very elite cobra unit designated as the Golden Vipers. These men are highly trained assassins who specialize in neutralizing problems for "The Commander." These problems can range from a terror cell leader to an arms merchant up to a president that does not agree with Cobra practices.

It really doesn't matter to Hawkeye; he only cares about the actual kill. Having long prided him self on being the best archer in the world, he has now started to prove he is the most devious by constructing specialty arrows that have functions from armor penetration to high explosive detonation.
