I never really had much use for the original Deep Six figure, perhaps because the S.H.A.R.C. he drove was a little futuristic for my tastes (at least for Joe) or perhaps because his articulation was so lousy. But after seeing the character in an issue of Special Missions, I knew I wanted a decent non-dive-suit version to bolster the ranks of my Joe navy.

The head just felt perfect for the character, and I didn't see any reason to make his outfit dramatically different than Shipwreck's. Like I did for that custom, I shaved down the bottoms of the shoes to make the proportions work better.

A little gray on the arms and some black for the belt was all the paint it took to tie things together.

Fortunately I was able to locate a spare Chap Mei vest for him.
