This started off as a beat up Bridge Layer (chassis) and the cannon from the Thunderclap. I thought I would combine the two and create a Joe vehicle based on the M-107 Self Propelled Howitzer. The stabilizer came from some construction toy and can be moved for travel. The driver (Shell Shock) is a repainted Footloose with a repainted General Hawk accessory pack helmet.

When the G.I Joe team encounters Cobra armor on the battlefield they need serious fire support. The G.I Joe SPARTAN (Self Propelled Artillery - type N) fills this role. The Joes needed a gun big enough to decimate the enemy and able to go wherever the they go. SPARTANs have a range of over 30 miles and fire multiple types of mission specific rounds. When Cobra troops find out SPARTANs are on the battle field, they start digging in immediately!
