The members of Strikeforce Viper wear custom made uniforms designed by Destro and manufactured by MARS. The microfiber weave suppresses the wearer's body temperature, which renders them practically invisible to thermal sensors. This not only gives them the ability to sneak past alarm systems, it also enhances the belief among Cobra that they are ghosts who can appear and disappear at will.

Stonebreaker was the meanest, nastiest, most foul-tempered SAW Viper ever to lace up a pair of boots. Combine that with the ability to hit a target 600 yards away, and you have a perfect candidate for Strikeforce Viper. His attitude and accuracy quickly caught the attention of Cobra Commander, who set out to induce him to join. Stonebreaker was initially hesitant to join up, but when he heard what the annual salary was, he signed up immediately.
