This custom was a lot of fun to do. The 1980 Flash Gordon movie is one of my all-time favorites. I recently watched it with my son, and that got the ball rolling to do this custom. I was really lucky to find parts that match the outfit Flash wore at the beginning of the movie, and a headsculpt with a passing resemblance to Sam J. Jones, the actor who played Flash. The logo for the T-shirt was taken from a image of the shirt printed onto Testors decal maker paper. Doing this custom has really got me fired up to do more characters from Flash Gordon!
