The toughest part of this was separating the gill covers from the water tank on the head cast. It's a little tough to tell, but when I sealed the figure before weathering, the semi-gloss acrylic spray left an 'orange peel' texture, which actually worked to the benefit of giving him a 'scale-y' appearance after brushing on some black charcoal. The brown weathering I did to the vest was actually washed off by too much sealant at the end...
