Upon the destruction of Cobra, Cobra Commander and Destro joined forces to create a new army of Cobra. Together, they are equipped with new uniforms with the likeness of Destro's Iron Grenadiers.

Needless to say, Cobra is once again united under one color, Black. Grant it, he and Destro still have their differences. Under the new regime, Cobra Commander and his army can once again defeat G.I. Joe once and for all.
