2006 Sigma Six Firebat Jet
This is just a standard Sigma Six Firebat that I wanted to modify for 3.75" figures. It was really simple since the cockpit detaches from the rest of the airframe and is held together by three screws. The cockpit interior is then easily removed. Although it is an incredibly detailed interior with control stick and rudder pedals, the whole seat pan has to go to get the 3.75" figure to sit low enough for the cockpit to close. What remains is just the seat back and hose lines and if you are careful you can cut out and save the control stick that can be repositioned and glued in. Once the seat pan has been removed, just a little bit of the material on the sides will have to be dremeled to allow some wiggle room for the new figure and a 1984 Wild Weasel will fit nicely with his helmet touching the glass. Hence, I choose to create a new A.V.A.C pilot using the Annihilator head which offers a lower profile. I think the Sigma Six series of vehicles are really nice; with some work can be modified to fit the 3.75" figure line and would be a great addition to anyone's vehicle collection.
